A Complicated Lesson

Trevor had stood on this very spot with his father. He had listened earnestly to the patient explanation that these railway tracks were parallel lines. They went through town and country, transporting people, animals and freight. They would never meet, even if they continued to infinity. There were a lot of concepts that he had never mastered, so it was with a sense of pride that he was able to explain to his own grandson the complicated lesson of half a century ago.

What complicated lesson did Trevor explain? Explain your answer?

The complicated lesson is when Trevor said that there were a lot of concepts that he had never mastered. Trevor said this because he is proud that he could explain what his complicated losson was in the half ogf the century.

his dad had told him about trail tracks and he is telling his grandkids. He is telling them about train tracks and how the knowledge has been passed from over a half a century. and then the kids will tell their kids.

He was explaining that the train tracks would never meet as they were completely parallel to each other. Trevor obviously had trouble grasping this concept as he is proudly explaining it to his grandson (he has finally understood it).

I think trevor explained his old job which I think is probably a train driver. I think this because in the paragraph it mentions railway tracks, then it mentions transporting people, animals and freight. If you put them both together then it shows that he was a train driver.
